has-teal-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clleancode.top\/travere-redesign\/publications\/protective-mechanism-sparsentan-chronic-kidney-disease-models\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dual Endothelin Angiotensin Receptor Antagonist (DEARA)<\/a><\/span><\/mark> approved for use in adults with IgA nephropathy who are at risk for disease progression<sup>1-5<\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It has demonstrated sustained proteinuria reduction and preservation of kidney function in the <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-teal-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clleancode.top\/travere-redesign\/publications\/efficacy-and-safety-of-sparsentan-versus-irbesartan-in-patients-with-iga-nephropathy-protect-2-year-results-from-a-randomised-active-controlled-phase-3-trial-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PROTECT study<\/a><\/span><\/mark><sup>6<\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In clinical studies, sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) have reduced proteinuria and the risk of progression to kidney failure in patients with IgA nephropathy<sup>7,8<\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-teal-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clleancode.top\/travere-redesign\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/PO903_EPOSTER_Kooienga_PROTECT_OLE_SGLT2i_1Nov.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Previous clinical data from the PROTECT open-label extension (OLE)<\/a><\/span><\/mark> indicated that adding an SGLT2i to stable sparsentan was generally well tolerated and demonstrated a benefit on proteinuria reduction<sup>9<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-aim\"><br><span class=\"fw-600\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color evaluated the safety and efficacy of stable sparsentan with the addition of an SGLT2i in IgA nephropathy<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-approach\"><br><span class=\"fw-600\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ocean-blue-color\">Approach<\/mark><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list-wrapper\">\n<ul
